Did alright there, very professional. Thought Taki did pretty well when he came on, no real concerns , although Adrian's flap at the end was a bit daft.

When did we last have a clean sheet with Virgil playing

        Good effort from the squad.

No Allison, VVD; Matip, Thiago, Ox, Keita. and Salah, Bobby and Mane subbed off.

Robbo's best game in a while. Fabinho looks a very capable CB to say the least. Keep him there.

Good performance from Gomez...has been under a lot of pressure recently
Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

              Virgil who?

Fabinho MOTM, absolutely read everything, even the lob over Adrian from the striker.

Wijnaldum played for VvD's life and his soul. Gini is finally out of his bottle.

The rest, good showing. Love Jota. :kisskisskiss:

Fabinho is our 2nd best center back. Needs to play there every game now

Great win missing several keys players and taken Salah and Mane off early. Thought Jota did very well, Mini woke up a bit when he came on some lovely interplay. Robbo and Fab different class, Joe did well. Trent and Bobby were ****e and Adrian is a disaster waiting to happen.

We'd smash them with a full side.

2nd front 3 were brilliant TBH, showed the 1sr front 3 what they used to do with regards to work ethic

Robbo continuing his good recent form with another good performance. Keeper still gives me heart palpitations but a good win and a clean sheet away from home in Europe.

It was a good performance in the end. I thought Milner was going to be the one to make way for Henderson, looked slow but still tenacious as always.

Really pleased with Jota, direct and intelligent, the same with Minamino, who I still think should play a bit further back like he was with Salzburg.

Godinho was amazing, an absolute rock.

Gomez and Robbo were also excellent but TAA seemed a bit subdued.

Was anyone else happy with our little Alpine Messi's performance too?

Very little love for the very little guy. His close control, pace and willing to get stuck in straight away had me thinking we missed him in midfield.

I wouldn't be shocked or upset if he's played in midfield against Sheff Utd. Hendo-Gini-Cube, assuming Thiago and Milner are rested.

It's because Taki and Jota were stealing the show. Specially Jota who we couldn't take our eyes off, even off the ball. Shaq didn't set the night alight but his movement was fluid and he didn't appear tentative, like an injured lurker.

Ironically out of the three players Shaq has the best chance of starting the next game due to where he can play.
