    This is it!

Aston Villa notwithstanding, we've done very well this season and the latest to test us are West Ham who themselves are having a good run too with two wins and two draws (against Spurs and Man City!).

I think we have enough to beat them but Antonio is a massive pain and their new Czech signings are pretty decent, they're certainly no pushovers right now.

Thiago, Matip, VVD and Fabinho are unavailable for this match which means we'll probably field Henderson at centre back or give Rhys Williams his first start, he certainly acquitted himself well against FC Midtjylland.

Thanks FB. Amazing the hype Calvert-Lewis has got for his goals so far yet Salah is just 1 behind. He is so criminally underrated these days even by our own supporters.

Also robbed of a goal against Sheffield United, plus he's the 2nd most creative player in league in terms of chances created (despite not taking setpieces). But apart from that, he's been poor.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The game is on sky in the UK (not PPV)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Biggest plus for us is Antonio is out for them. He was in good form and he's very strong. Without Virgil I think he would of bullied us badly. Thankfully he's out. Hopefully our front 3 can link up better in open play, make some better choices and get some much needed fluency back in our attacks. Wonder if thiago will make it, he looked so good in his brief appearances so far. He brings something no one else in the squad gets close to. Very important 3 points to ease the pressure a bit on the city game. I reckon we might just get over the line with a 2-1.

Antonio out is a huge loss for them, so possibly Haller instead. Bit worried about set pieces as they are a huge team. They won't keep us out though.

We’ve had more clean sheets since Virgil’s been out, so not concerned.
              Are we winning?

Against Ajax and Midtjylland. And the Ajax one was largely down to Fabinho who is now also injured.

Should be a good game. WH will be confident and we need the points. This is the part of the season where the table starts to take shape, so hopefully no more VAR robbery.

That's good news, I thought I heard he was ok.

That said, they have some decent players that can still cause us a headache.

It is true though. Watertight since the big fella got injured.

                            *also since Alison returned.
