It must be a pretty small circle of people who know the team this early, especially with covid restrictions limiting staff etc.

I quite like getting it maybe an hour before but in this age of analysis i'm not sure giving the oppo 5-6 hours to make plans is in our best interests, would rather wait.

I think the opposite. West Ham will be thinking **** we've got to get the ball off thiago! We should announce the team early officially, what better way to show off how confident you are.
