    This is it!

With a boss two wins out of two, we travel to arguably our hardest fixture away to Atalanta. I have no idea why they're so good or where they came from but they seem to be this goal scoring machine from Italy.

Will Firmino's poor form see Jota or Shaq getting a start up front? I think we'll see some surprises with an eye on next week's game against City. These quick fire fixtures are nuts!

Would expect that Thiago, Fabinho and Matip will all be held back for the city game.

    Where's Keita??

I think we can afford to lose this one and expect to win the rest of the games in our group so I’d have City front of mind. Naby had Covid so was t there a 14 day isolation period and maybe it affected him worse than some of the others?

I hope we have a chance with getting Thiago on the pitch for City, Id rather see him come back for that. The tackle on him was absolute filth, so I am not surprised it is taking a bit longer and we are being cautious.

I hope big Joel can string a few games together for the first time in a few years.

A game a week for Joël - play him in the league and anyone else in the Champions League. Any more and we break him again

Get Joel on the pitch for few mins vs Ata and start vs City. Hopefully Thiago can get some minutes vs City and give us that different dimension of passing. Only other player that can pick a pass like that is Shaqiri. With the runners and movement we have up top, we do need someone who can thread that killer ball through.

Atalanta have been scoring goals for fun over the last year or so, very impressive attack so should be an interesting game. I'd take a draw.

They're electric going forward, but pretty questionable at the back. They conceded around 50 goals in the league last season. A draw wouldn't be a terrible result but I feel that we can get a few goals there.

This is a weird one, to be honest I'm not sure what I would do. Win this one and the group is almost wrapped up, but it's the hardest remaining game so it would take alot to win. With the City game to follow it might be smarter to allow people a break and make that the no 1 priority. I'm not too fussed about the CL at this stage anyway.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah the City game on the weekend forces our hand IMO; we'll have to rest some key players for this one.

It’s a tough one- on one hand this is a week where we could really do with resting players... but on the other hand, it would be nice to be mathematically top of the group early and then actually play our reserves in the rest..

If he’s gonna put out a half decent team, I reckon may as well go full strength, get it won, then make 5 subs and have everyone in training match mode for the last 30 min...
                      I don't tip

It won't be a Carabo Cup line up or anything. He'll want to put out a team with half a chance of getting a result, but I'd expect 4/5 changes.

Philips can't play in the CL because he isn't named in the squad. It will almost certainly be Rhys Williams (if Matip is unavailable or we don't want to risk him)

Ajax have had 11 positive covid tests apparently and they are being tested again today but at the moment they only have a squad of 17
Oh I say his vision there was lovely
