Diogo nailed on to start against City
If he does start vs city it will be great to see how he copes with a better class of defender and from the start of the game.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I think it will be Bobby against City, the Atalanta game was designed for Jota with the style of play the opposition had, but City will be a much tougher game with nowhere near as much attacking space. Bobby's defending from the front will be key. Still think Jota will have a part to play, just not from the start.

Yep, really drove at their defence from deep in midfield. Looked a completely different animal physically.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Just watched the extended highlights and I've changed my mind, he was indeed excellent. I think I had the yellow card incident on my mind.

Be hard to drop Jota after that performance, but Klopp would have known his City team before last night and is unlikely to change.

Better to have the Jota option off the bench to come on and change things if the game plan isn't working, than to bring Bobby on for a goal if Jota struggles against City.

That being said, still transferred him into my FF team and will start him.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It is mad to think that things did look bleak when Virg got injured. Our salvation was Fabinho, keep him fit and we still have a chance. Once he went, it felt our best option was to outscore the opposition and deny them in midfield, Thiago is our man.

Don't know how many more blows this team can take but what they are achieving really is remarkable. Klopp is one of the most unlucky football managers in the history of the game but yet he will still go down as one of the most successful and arguably the greatest.

old Gini breaking through the lines, lung bursting energy pushing us forward. Class player that's just had a poor season thus far, same as Bobby. Hopefully it's a turning point for Gini as he is a huge player for us. Just need Bobby to kick on now.
