Ah good, I was hoping someone would post that.

Even before that clip starts we were pinging it around the pitch for what seemed like a couple of minutes.

I'd love to see that starting from when the ball previously was out of play.
    Oh I don't know.

Surely that's more passes than the other week when we set a record?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Thats a brilliant clip to show what Hendo gives to the team. Absolutely prowling round the midfield. We've got sooo much talent (Jones ball to Trent is a belter) but we need someone to control it. That's Henderson.

Yeah, it must have been around 70 passes. Even before that clip we just have been passing it around 30 or so times.
          Are we winning?

            32 passes I think?

Edit: Just saw the above. 32 passes in the clip.

Given it's an own goal, the number of passes before the opposition touched it would be 0?

                That is a good point.

Either way, the number of passes around the back against a team that were 3-0 down and already back on the bus doesn't seem particularly exciting.

dont understand why he wasnt booked

if thats ever a clear and obvious dive (given the ref watched it in slow motion on VAR screen) then it should have been punished

Indeed, yellows for simulation don't come any more obvious than that.

This season they have been awful and are on target for about 4 points at the current rate I don't think anyone expected them to be so poor. Whenever I've seen them they really seem to try and over play, they have opportunities to put the ball into the box but don't seem to take it, strikers will never score if they aren't making chances for them. Brewster was supposedly a good player but didn't suit our system so really had to move. I hope his career doesn't go to **** like so many of our former youngsters.
I said at the time that Sheffield utd was a poor choice for him. His agent needs sacking. Brighton's style would have been better. Palace were linked, maybe could have worked there. Sheffield are going down and he's going to struggle to get games. They need to go direct to give themselves a chance and he won't suit that.

Saw on reddit that it's in the IFAB rules, if the penalty decision is overturned due to no contact, then the player WILL receive a yellow card, so I think either the PL have their own rulebook, or the ref just forgot.

Coady anticipated contact and went down. To be honest it was a miracle Mane was able to pull out of it in real time. Let's give the lad a bye ball after all he did gift us a goal

I think the last few weeks the message seemed to be that if you go down var will give you a penalty if there’s any sort of contact...

I think a booking would have sent a var-positive message to all, that it can go the other way too.... but instead it sent a message that you have nothing to lose- best case scenario, you get a penalty, worst case scenario, play on!
