    Extra few million?? Really?!

Is a bad score line the last thing he wants?! As long as no one gets injured klopp and everyone else associated with LFC won’t give a **** about a bad score line...

If we beat fulham on Sunday, it’s been a good week- if we don’t it’s been a **** week- tomorrow’s game has no impact...
    I don't tip

A CL group stage win is worth €2.7m in prize money
      Football without Origi is nothing

Yeah but we’ve already won the group.

Each game won, not winning the group. I would imagine such considerations will be made at board level given how much finances have been impacted recently

              Has to be:

              Kelleher
              Neco Rhys Koumetio Tsimikas
Cain Clarkson Keita (for minutes) or another kid
              Minamino Glatzel Origi

Ah I see. Yeah fair point, though I still think the demands on the squad will be the main concern.

Wow I never knew that- thought it was just about what position you finish the group in..

Its mad how much money there is floating about €0.9m for a draw (I assume that is per team)

On the flip side to all this, if we get injuries then we may not progress as far in the CL or finish as high in the PL both of which will cost us £.

Weird that they give 2.7m if someone wins and 1.8m if it’s a draw... so uefa save 0.9m when there’s a draw!

They have to pay both teams, though [emoji16]
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Just thought I'd see how that compares to domestic prize money, as I've lost track these days:

                                - Win the League Cup and you get £100,000
                                - Win the FA Cup and you get £1,800,000
                                - Runner up in the FA Cup and you get £900,000

So a win in a single game against minnows in the group stage of the Champions League is worth more than winning the FA Cup, and loads more than winning the League Cup. And a single point in the group stages is worth around 8 times as much as winning the league cup, and not far off the prize for getting to the FA Cup Final.

Based on that, we should be looking at a few experienced players playing.
