Yeah I don't think he will but I really hope he does. Hendo (or Gini), Thiago and Shaq massively ramps up the unpredictability and creativity, and given we'll have a lot of the ball I think it'd be ideal. We're likely to go into the game 2nd in the table ffs, 3 points behind those cunts, so that should be a rocket up our arses. That plus a long overdue shake up in the XI would give me a lot more confidence than I'd been banking on.

Shaqiri has to start v United imo. We've become too predictable, too slow in our tempo and obsessed with slinging crosses in. We're at our best playing quick passes in and around the opponents box. We'll have loads of ball v United and they'll try and follow the West Brom template, with much better quality on the break. So let's give them something different to think about and try and be more creative through the middle with Thiago and Shaq, instead of relying on Trent and Robbo who will have to be very watchful of Rashford in the channels on the counter.

I'd rather make the midfield as strong as possible and try to dominate the ball, the game, and it's a game that will suit Henderson imo (or Gini tbh). We coped v Spurs - albeit only just and they did us on the break a few times - but I hope and think the Hendo at CB experiment is finished with already.

As you say we’ll likely dominate possession & they’ll look to hit us on the counter which is Rhys’s cryptonite if we play our usual high line. I don’t like Hendo at CB either but needs must on this occasion surely.

I wonder why we started in our 433 with functional midfielders today? Seemed the perfect chance to see something else. But I agree with those saying Shaqiri should start to give us that extra dimension.

think klopp will go tried & tested TBH; would be interesting to see shaq in the mix, but can't see it. bench should hopefully be strong also. (Taki, millie, ox, naby, shaq, jones, Williams x 2, derek)

Only availability would stop this being the team I would think, in regard to tonight’s match I would say that it’s probably hard to bring your “A game” against opposition who you know you are so better than (based mainly on playing in the garden against nephews etc) very different from how it will feel up against our historic rivals next up
