You're saying thats a good team with no centreback...That's crazy. Its not about support, that statement is just wrong.

Worried about the back line, and the effect it will have on midfield, looked really unbalanced when Hendo played CB before. We need the lads in midfield to step up and boss the midfield and control the game.

Shaqs energy will be useful. Always on his toes wanting the ball, consistently looking around surveying the land and space. Makes a change from the usual sterile midfield.

Nope, just tell it to Jurgen if you’re not happy I’m not making the team. It’s arguably our best 11 man for man at the moment.

Pogba needs a crunch in the first minute as well... he’s ****e at tracking back so hopefully some space in midfield for us to work it...

Martial could be carrying a dodgy hammy.. one stretch and he’s off too...

Me too, with Matip I was quietly confident, with that back line, I can see us shipping at least 2. Adding to the fact that we're not banging the goals in, I'm fearing the worst. They'll be up for this, are in form, will dive every chance they get, will be confident attacking that defence... I hope I'm wrong.

We must have trained with that team in mind all week so probably made no sense to rush Matip after 2 training sessions. This team is good enough to beat them. Hendo and Fabinho have played together in midfield, so no biggie playing a bit deeper. We’ll see. People can say Klopp lost the plot or he’s a genius after the game, not now.

At least bailly isn't playing. Utd fans prefer him to linderof.

I think I’m more secure with Hendo back there rather than Rhys or Nat who are young and would have to be absolutely flawless reading the game and the movement of United front 2.

Happy with Hendo at the back for this game. They would have targeted both Williams and Phillips for pelanties

I don't see us keeping a clear sheet so we need to score at least 2 to have a chance of winning and we've only done that twice in the last 6 PL games, which is a concern, we really need someone to find their shooting boots

This is what I’m pinning my hopes on

I said is vs Saints - it shows Klopp has zero faith in Nat and Rhys yet we will play the remainder of the season with them because it seems unlikely we bring in another CB. We rolled the dice in the summer not replacing Dejan - I can understand accepting that risk because we bought well and VVD was seemingly indestructible. Now we need to sort it out - Fab/Hendo as a CB pairing because Matip ain’t playing two games a week means we might regret sitting in our hands

Got a feeling Trent will score from a free-kick today

                                Feeling very good about this.

Team news hasn't dampened that TBH.
