Surely Milly would do a good job at cb?

Hendo will be fine, he's got a height advantage over Milly too.

Thiago, Gini and Jones/Milly for the midfield, not too shabby.

Klopp says Matip "is close" and it "doesn't make sense to throw him in without any sessions". Says he may be involved in training tomorrow.

At least we've had over a week to work on defensive formations. And we don't have big Dunk on a wheelie bin watching at Melwood...so weldon't know what's gonna happen....

Just read that the last time he played was the 7-0 win over Palace.
                    Another MASSIVE game

Klopp also said that Keita came back from injury too quickly and his issues were never addressed and they are trying to fix them now. About time.

Midfield loses a lot without Hendo and I fear you're all expecting too much from Thiago without Hendo and Gini both in there doing the grunt work for him and creating time on the ball for his defence-splitting passes... I worry with Hendo at CB and Thiago doing some of the heavy lifting... plus, as someone also said, Fred and McTomminay will crunch Thiago as much as possible and as early as possible. I fully expect to see him injured in the first half if Hendo is at CB.

Personally, I'd not go with what Ole expects - partner one of the kids with Fab and push Hendo back into midfield with Thiago and Gini... We have to win the game early and with energy from the start. If we are slow or back to ****ing crab football again and being patient in the build-up, we'll draw or worse, be hit with a sickening counter punch or pen.

We need to lay down a marker, start high energy, high press and just get in their faces early doors. We also need to ****ing shoot from outside the box and test DeGea early doors - he won't be expecting anything from distance as we always try and walk the thing in... United can pack the box as much as they want, we just need some ****ing good shooting from the lads and not the piss poor, trundling into the keepers arms or hitting row z that we've seen so far this season. Mo against Palace kinda thing will do nicely... across the 18 yard box and a curler into the top corner. Surely they all ****ing practice that **** every day?! How about putting on a show with some humdingers like Ox used to do against Citeh... Right, rant over. :-)

I reckon Matips gonna start.. was always gonna be tight and sounds like he’s on schedule to train today/tomorrow..

Our teams a lot easier to predict/prepare for if ya know Matip will start, so I reckon klopp likes to keep Ole guessing
                          I don't tip

I'm hoping we are coy on Matip's fitness but hard to have faith in a guy that seems to be injured every 2nd day of his life, such a pity as he's a quality CB. We've had so much bad luck with injuries this season that i'm sure all of us are expecting him not to play.

Even if he could stay fit on Saturday for 80 mins that would be great thanks.
