Davies is the weirdest transfer of all time. Sign the guy whilst desperate for a CB.....never play him despite more CB's getting injured and games coming thick and fast.

He was injured early on, and to be fair both Phillips and Williams were rock solid during the run-in.

Nah Celtic will buy him for 8m to 10m before the summer is out.
15m for Grujic, 8m to 10m for Davies, 15m for Shaqiri or similar = Goretzka or Saul coming in
Then we sell Philips for 15m to 20m and go buy Kabak for 10m.

We are better defensively going into this season than last season. Keep virgil fit and you could play Ben Davies or Rhys Williams next to him if you wanted to. But surely Vrgil will need to be managed a bit next season - so probably play less and/or be substituted in games where we are comfortable??Comment
