Agreed our demographics favours us. 90% of the population in cities 100s if not 1000s of km from each other. But Melbourne had 750 new cases of community transmission a day in July and we fkn eliminated the thing. Strong leadership and a population that understands how social contracts workOriginally posted by Norbs View PostIt's a bit easier for a remote outpost to lock down than one of the most pivotal hubs on the planet
UK never stood a chance with the arse-clown you’ve got running the joint

It was slightly tongue in cheek but the fact remains that London is a hub and simply shutting it down was logistically far more difficult. That illustration is very helpful too, Europe probably has 10 times the population in less area, and we don't have huge deserts between our citiesOriginally posted by banditos View PostAgreed our demographics favours us. 90% of the population in cities 100s if not 1000s of km from each other. The Europe one blows my mind.Originally posted by vlahka View PostIf we ever manage to populate the entirety of this country, we will be the super power of the world. Only thing stopping this from happening is the wildlife trying to murder us every day.
The other thing stopping you is that 95% of the land is un-inhabitable

I was thinking about this. I wonder will it be Fabinho that goes back into midfield and Henderson stays in defense with the new arrival. Just more likely that Henderson will talk him through the game a lot better??? Not sure but it wouldn't surprise me.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWith Matip out for the season as well I'd expect Kabak to come into the side pretty sharpish. Him and Fabinho with Henderson back into midfield.

Vlakha, TBH, I'm kinda happy I live in a low population country at the end of the earth. Helps us avoid the worst of those pesky wars and pandemics. I've lived in a few other countries and we've got it as good as anyone. Our low population density certainly has a positive effect on our quality of life.
