The City game will be huge. A few weeks ago I'd have given us no chance but we have beaten them before with Karius and Lovren in our team. Attack will certainly be the best form of defense so hopefully we can have our first choice front 3 in the team and give them chances to attack City. Dias and whoever he partners have done well this season but let's show them they've not played any attack as good as ours yet.

It is a huge call for Klopp on who he plays in defense though. I wonder will he go with Fab and Hendo.

I wondered the same, we usually take a while to bed players in and it could be a little harsh to drop someone (probably Kabak) into our biggest game of the season after just a couple of days of prep. Henderson and Fabinho might be the way to go if fit. If Fab doesn't make it it's a tough call.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Having never seen Kabak or Davies play I did wonder whether Davies for the City game would be the better option - at least he's more likely to be used to the speed of the English game.

True but only at Championship level. It’d be a huge call & I can’t see either of the new signings playing against City tbh.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Same, I reckon Hendo and (hopefully) Fab for the City game.

Is Kabak eligible for the Brighton game midweek? If so, it might be he starts that one alongside Hendo, so Klopp can see if he is ready for the City game. Match fitness won't be a problem, and it might be a risk worth taking against a side less likely to attack (famous last words, i know). I think in an ideal world we would want Hendo back in the MF alongside Thiago and Gini for the City game.

Yep or Nat if Fab isn’t ready but Hopefully he’ll be back though.

Is Kabak even in Liverpool yet? No trace of him at Anfield or the training ground on the official channels. I'd be amazed if he played tomorrow.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The sooner we get Hendo back in midfield the better IMHO.

Saw a pic of him boarding a plane, posted early this morning, so he should be in town soon.

I think he's been able to influence the game just as well from CB, and with the whole game in front of him he's taken his marshalling of the game to an even higher level.

He really is the singularly most important element of our outfield, IMO

Fair enough. I just think we miss him further forward where he is more effective at marshalling the press but there is no arguing with the last two performances and results I guess.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I was disagreeing

Yep, he'd be better in his usual position but what I meant was the gap he would've left in defence in the last few games would've been harder to fill than the one he left in midfield. With players currently available. I think he'll stay there for Brighton and then against City we'll see Fab and Phillips at CB and a midfield 3 of Hendo, Milner and Wijnaldum

Even if he is best case scenario is he arrived yesterday afternoon, probably didn't meet the players until today, asking him to play tomorrow is a big ask.
