I found that a little strange myself, it has to be decision making for me, I don't know how else to describe it. But it's equally as poor as his performance on the ball.

Exactly ****ing right. If anything Thiago tries to speed things up with his quick passes. Every time it goes out wide, it stops. Then goes backwards. Every ****ing time.

It's unfathomable how this Thiago-has-slowed-our-game-down bandwagon has gathered so much speed.

He's had very little change out of Chelsea, not that I blame him necessarily, his whole life now is having balls hoofed out defence down that channel.

8 long balls out to him that half I reckon. Rudiger on him all game and he's had no change. Yet he we did the same time and again.

We've played the same style for three seasons now, and we've been well found out. Even in that goal the midfielder, kante I think knew there'd be space in behind Trent.

You could play blind against us, the spaces are there all the time and normally midfielders would fill in but they're either not playing, or CBs. It's a perfect storm of ****ness. I'd be surprised if we got Europa. Frankly we don't deserve it.

I don’t see how the confidence levels will rise if we just play the same players week after week after week. Their morale must be rock bottom. They’ve all started each and every one of our defeats. In the same positions, all that’s changed has been the centre backs....

It’s baffling we don’t look to play a different way. This system is a busted flush.

Oh he's not quick but he can play that role well and has a sensible head on his shoulders. Phillips and Kabak are slow, and are both new kids on the block with hardly any experience between them. I reckon Chelsea would make mincemeat of that pairing. Not that we're pulling up trees against them as it is of course...

Bobby and Trent at fault for the goal. Fab reads the game well at CB just hasn’t got pace. Other options are limited, maybe Philips and Kabak would have been better option with Fab moved forward for Jones. Not making any sweeping statements on Thiago, he divides opinion clearly but I am firmly in the ‘he makes us better’ camp but unfortunately not when the rest of the team are playing like ****ing school kids...

How have we become so ****? I can see Virgil being having a big impact, but individual performances have been average at best all season.

I cannot get my head around the mass deterioration in our side.

This is our 20th CB pairing this season - Fab being rushed back again tonight and looks unfit. Out of form players (Bobby in particular) can’t be dropped as only Divvy there.......Yes players are down but it’s a combination of all the injuries and getting shafted by VAR.

Tonight I’d moan a bit about our v high line vs Werner - we are getting caught by long balls over Trent all night. We are getting chances but not sure we’ll score given the form of the forwards

I expect nothing given the **** show around the club but 5 loses at home in a row would hurt a lot. Lose tonight and top 4 is done
