In isolation a defeat like this isn't the worst they can happen, but 6 straight home PL defeats, and 12 points in our last 14 matches is indicative of much bigger problems.
Despite all the problems in defence we have only conceded more than 1 goal 3 times in those games, maybe we have been lucky not to concede more. But the problem is with the forward part of the team we have failed to score in 8 of those games. Which is where the problem lies, if the strikers were scoring 2 or 3 every game and we were losing that would be more understandable given defensive issues.
