A fast start is needed, an early goal for us and Burnley's fans will urge them forward so we might be able to pick them off with another couple in the second half. One thing's for sure, we need our ****ing shooting boots on tonight lads... none of this 29 shots on goal and 1 on target ****e... we need a showcase in clinical finishing.

We know Kane's going to be gunning for the golden boot so he'll be his usual diving, backing-in, poaching, spawny self on Sunday against Leicester... so that could be a tight one unless Spuds just capitulate.
Just ****ing win tonight - any win puts us min 2 ahead of them in GD and any win vs Palace puts us min 3 up. Not sure Leicester thump Spurs and we have a better head to head.

Burnley away historically tough for us although we’ve done all right there recently - fans back tonight to I’ll take any win and see what needs doing on the weekend

I'm very much expecting us to **** this up tonight...

And quietly hoping for an emphatic win. We need to stay calm, and all of the forwards not just Salah need to be hitting the target. Making the keeper at least make saves.

Hopefully the crowd, even an away crowd, gives Sadio the edge he has been lacking.

Think fans being back in the ground, even though they will be Burnley supporters, will help us.

We seem to have players that thrive on the background noise and that feed off of crowd reactions.

The louder the Burnley support can get the better imo.

Then come Sunday I think we will see the team feeding off the home support and be in total refuse to lose mode.

Thing is that even if we lost or drew tonight, we are still in it as Leicester would still need to not lose to Spurs if we lose tonight and would have to beat Spurs to be sure if we got a draw tonight.

We win tonight and it sets up a hell of a Sunday as Leicester will have no choice but to go at Spurs and need a big win at that.

Bobby has looked sharper in his last couple of games and he is a player who definitely loves a crowd.

                I know.

I have definitely noticed a trend though, the more confident we all are the harder the game is. Take Man U (and I believe I was the only person to predict a W) and we were all mega negative and look what happened.

Mainly, I believe it is outside of our control. But what else have we got as supporters other than fate and superstition.

I hope to be pleasantly surprised!!!

Agree with both, i'm not sure i can cope with another last minute winner by the goalkeeper or Neil Melloresque thunderbolt from Ben Woodburn in the dying embers.

Believe its only 3500-ish allowed into the ground

Bit of noise. Just what we need if you ask me.

Seeing a lot of 'excuses', for lack of a better term, regarding these two games......fans in the ground, Bodgson's last game etc to mask what are two extremely winneable fixtures.
Only ourselves to blame at this point if we fall.

I'm hoping we will be pumped up from getting a chance we don't really deserve. I also think we will have got a massive boost from the Utd win and Allison's majestic late winner. Burnley are pretty poor. We will find a way to win.

If we get fourth, then we deserved it. We finish lower then that is what we deserved.

I can see us winning tonight and scoring as few. That would put great on pressure on Leicester for Sunday and with Spurs needing something, Kane's last game etc, it'll be a very tricky game for them. As long as we win and apply the pressure.

Just need to start well, get the first goal and then we can pick Burnley off. If Pope is out, then we'll surely batter them as their reserve keeper is absolute ****e - he's let in 14 goals in 4 games and they've lost them all. Plus Burnely have been poor at home this season, whilst we've been good away.

Their max allowance would be 4k or 5k I think.
