Klopp said it was tactical as he is quicker than Matip. Clearly he provided cover for TAA to get forward. I think we will see him rotate as required. A good problem to have.

It’s freaky how fast he is considering the sheer size of him.

It is hard because any comparison is to VVD, and playing next to him every defender suddenly has an air of calmness about them . I think he can become a top tier defender. He is probably not far off that. His touch is surprisingly good too. Still think Matip is better, but there is a huge gap in age. I think we are blessed to have all 3.
