Disappointed that Taki struggled a bit at Southampton, thought it would be a perfect chance for him to shine.

I guess we're not replacing Gini, going by Klopp's PC.

He seemed a bit pissed off, which I'm not sure is a good thing or not.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think we all would love that. Its likely Naby will have an injury after his fourth game in a row though.

Ox looked very sharp in the last preseason... it'd be amazing to get the pre Roma Ox back.

Think he was being uber-sarcastic to James Pearce... as if to say, 'well you obviously know best so which midfielder should we sign?'

He was not angry, think he was more just trying to get people more excited about keeping the squad together, contract extensions, fit (bar Robbo) and firing which is the first time since we won it in 2019/20.

Klopp's deffo got his mojo back... he was laughing, smiling and generally seems to be full of beans and relaxed about things this season. Good to see... he looked drained at the end of May.

Was only watching on phone in work, so picking up bits and pieces. Just seemed annoyed to me, like I felt post Osasuna when he was talking (again half watching and far from sober).

Brother said similar to you, so I must just be missing the cheery parts when I tune in.

He's probably bored with questions about how rich City and Chelski are - he can't do anything about our business model.

Honestly I think Klopp likes our business model… ok what manager wouldn’t want to be able to buy the very best players, but I think klopp likes working with players to improve them, and while we might get jealous of the likes of chelsea or City being able to spend hundreds of millions, every year, klopp would never have been given the time needed to be successful, at one of those clubs.

Players like Trent/Jones/Elliott never get a chance at those clubs, these days- Foden being the exception..

Might see him on the bench a few times. Got to say he did look very good in pre season for a kid

We'll have to sign Jude Bellingham and Pedri now!

We’ll give the league one hell of a run if we can avoid the disastrous injury toll of last season.

First proper, extended pre-season for them both, I think? Finger's crossed, it will have done them the world of good.
