    Its a joke what is going to happen over the match v argintina the other day,so they ran on the pitch or something because some argies flew from here to brazil and didn't isolte.what would they have done if a brazilian and argie played for the same club and flew to brazil on the same plane as it was easier for them,make the argie islote but not the brazilian because brazilians don't have to isolte when the fly home?

            FIFA will not back down. FIFA want national govts to relax the quarantine rules for players returning from red-listed countries. The players are just pawns in FIFA's game - they don't give a **** about them or the clubs.

            But the Richarlison issue is a joke. There needs to be one rule and everyone lives by it or deals with the consequences. So because Everton let him go to the Olympics, the Brazilian FA are not requesting his suspension? Yeah, that's leaving things way too open for corruption. But when did that ever stop FIFA (or any governing body).

            No way this gets resolved in favor of the clubs or players in the short term.

                      IIRC all the clubs said that they would be willing to let the players go if an agreement could be reached about them not having to miss games due to quarantine. The 10 days quarantine is a similar length to the international break so as the clubs pay wages and tried to be accommodating IMO Brazil's frustration should be taken out on FIFA for failing to find an appropriate solution rather than the players and clubs who have behaved reasonably in the circumstances.

                      That said logic and reasonableness aren't characteristics you would associate with those running the national and international game, so who knows what will happen.
                      The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                        Reading on the BBC the suggestion seems to be that the players will be allowed to play if some agreement over the international windows in October and November can be reached, sounds like the players are being used as pawns in negotiations between UK government and FIFA/National sides.

                        However, it is known that they feel the situation takes no account of the unusual circumstances they have found themselves in and feel the players should be allowed to play for their clubs this weekend.

                        The Premier League, FA, Government and Fifa are all thought to be involved in discussions. Premier League chief executive Richard Masters has also written to clubs to say he is trying to find a solution.

                        It is felt any change in the situation would require some kind of assurance that players will be granted coronavirus travel exemptions so they can fulfil their international obligations in October and November, which Fifa president Gianni Infantino has been pushing for.
                        The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                            **** Brazil.

                            All clubs should play their players and if any punishments are dolled out take them all to court. Not a ****ing chance their excuse holds up seeing as they're letting Richarlicunt off because he played the Copa. You cant pick and choose.
