Salah’s positioning on the goal and movement to guage where the ball might fall was great.

I thought we played really well and grew more as the game went on, we looked fit too.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I'll say this, and with all due respect to the lads that stepped in last season, even though we had a couple of moments at the back with essentially a new LB, I was bloody delighted to have two proper CBs there !
Just in general play and increasingly so as the game wore on. Just that stability will add so much to this season.
Matip and Virgil knocking it about, Alisson able to confidently roll it out etc"I will make the boys feel your support"

Great result to start the campaign & my only disappointment was the Ox. I thought he just didn’t turn up today & offered nothing. It’s disappointing as his PS form was pretty good & Klopp rewarded him for that & he didn’t take the chance imo. He won’t get many better chances to impress than today & with Hendo & Fab coming back & Elliot looking lively in his cameo he might not see much game time for a while.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Billy Gilmour: Liverpool condemn alleged homophobic chants aimed at on-loan Norwich midfielder
Liverpool have condemned alleged homophobic chanting aimed at Norwich's on-loan midfielder Billy Gilmour at Carrow Road on Saturday.
The Scotland international and Chelsea loanee, 20, was allegedly targeted by some fans during the Reds' 3-0 win.
Liverpool said the chant was "offensive and inappropriate".
"We urge supporters to remember the inclusive values of the club and to refrain from using it in the future," the club added.
It came after Kop Outs, Liverpool's LGBT+ fans group, highlighted the chanting aimed at Gilmour.
"Great result today marred by homophobic chanting by some of our fans targeting Chelsea loanee Billy Gilmour," the group said on social media.
"If you can't support without resorting to bigoted nonsense, you don't understand YNWA [You'll Never Walk Alone]."The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
