We have not lost ground to City. They have lost 2 players (Aguero and Garcia) and brought in Grealish.

We have lost 2 players (Gini and Shaq) and brought in Konate and Elliott (who may/may not turn out to be a fantastic player).

We also have 4 players (VVD, Matip, Gomez, Henderson) returning from injury to further strengthen our spline/provide options.

Tsimikas has had a chance to show he's not half bad.

Now we just need Mane to rediscover his mojo and we will be firmly in the hunt for the title.

This season could well be one of the tightest title races between 4 clubs we've seen in the PL.
