Think as we get more games under our belt this season, a lot of teams are going to see that the old us is back and the teams that are not good enough to go punch for punch with us will be in damage limitation mode early on in games.

Or damage creation mode, a la Everton

One of the lads said it in the match thread that our energy levels look right up there - very few teams can live with us at that pace. From what ive seen so far i am very optimistic about our chances if we can keep this level good. We need good rotation abd of course luck with injuries

Good result that should have been more convincing ( but we like to do it that hard way) & a few players rested. The replacement players generally did well & hopefully they continue to do well when given chances in the weeks to come. 7 games in 21 days we had coming up so rotation will be imperative. Oh & a draw in the other match was a bonus too.

Agree. We should have been out of reach at HT, but we like a comeback or two against Milan

Not sure that we needed 3 CB's on the bench. However, it was a nice touch that Nat was included for all his efforts last season, that secured us CL footy

You are allowed to name 12 subs now, with Elliott and Firmino injured the 23 players named are more or less everyone who is in the senior squad, the only player I can think of who was missing was Neco Williams
