I think we look a bit **** without a proper holding midfielder. I just dont think Hendo is best used in that position.

Wijnaldum played a big part in a lot of really bad midfield performances last season so not as simple as us not having replaced him. Good chance that he would be still puting in that sort of performance had he stayed and his form for PSG is as bad as it was for us last season.


The Gini of seasons before that is another story.

Do agree that we need some reinforcements in the middle though
