Brighton at Home PL game 10

I just checked and was surprised to see none of the bookies paying out on Chelsea winning the league. I mean its not like being 3 points clear with 28 games to play isn't a sure thing.......

We're giving up decent chances in every game; opponents can attack our defence far too easily both out wide and through the middle.

Well that was an all round shocking performance

Hyperbolic Dan - we weren’t great and throwing away a 2 goal lead is bloody frustrating. Brighton are a really good side under Potter and we could have lost it. I think it’s all related to the midfield today - they got through it with ease and caused us problems.

Hendo is great with time on the ball but press him and he struggles - run at him and then we are in big trouble. Jones is super talented but young and drifts in and out of games…..feel sorry for Naby who started well and the less said about Ox the better.

We all felt it was the one area that might catch us and Fab, Thiago, Naby, Milner missing today - they all have form for missing games. Hendo hasn’t the legs for so many consecutive games and it showed.

I still think Chelsea will fall away a bit - City lost and we are another point ahead of them

Midfield needs sorted out ASAP without Fab we have no solidity and Thiago is a big loss too. Dunno if anyone is available in January but Klopp needs to seriously consider bringing reinforcements in like last season with the CB situation

There are a few players enetering the final six months of their cntracts in January and a few that will be enetering the final 18 months.

Think Keisse is one of those players and he has been linked with us before.

With all due respect Nev, stop with that hyperbolic ****e. It was a poxy performance right throughout the team. It happens but no point in ignoring that Brighton were the better side. Yes the midfield was a disaster but our full backs hardly got forward and Konate was a disaster today. Then you've got Bobby reverting to type. Mo and Mane were quiet too. All over the park we were pretty **** and I would think its ok to say we were ****e today on and off the pitch manager and players

Not really. Couple of decent results when we had players missing and another draw but before that they lost 8 or the previous 9 (or 6 of the previous 7 if you want to exclude the 2 matches that were 5 years before their current PL stint)

I know you are an emotional guy when watching games - you have said do yourself……… I’m as disappointed as you but you’d swear we just lost 5-0 at home to our biggest rivals based on what you were saying

They are a very good side and Potter a real candidate to replace Klopp when he leaves. Midfield was ****e and there were massive gaps which impacted us at the back and up front

Agree. It happens. Due a bad performance after the run we've been on but we're still unbeaten and 3 points off the top. If the right changes are made and Klopp learns from today we'll be fine (Konante not ready for regular starts, Robbo needs a rest, midfield needs sorted, subs should have been made earlier).

He wasn’t definitely poor. His positioning for their goal was sub-Moreno levels of awareness.

But the most shocking one is Hendo. He scored a good goal but he looked dead on his feet after 45 mins. Very similar to his performance against Chelsea. Not tracking back, jogging at best. Milner will be more mobile than that when he’s 60.

That would be because he was doing the work of 3

Jones and Ox were absolutely ****ing ****e. Both of them were running around with their heads in the clouds, giving the ball away non stop. Jones is nowhere near as good as many of you make out. He's slow and lacks awareness.

Ox should not be playing for this club. He's done. He was done last season. Klopp's only fault is his loyalty to his favourites. Get rid.

Robbo's on that favourites list too. Absolutely awful all season and has a guy waiting in the wings who hasn't put a foot wrong (and can actually cross a ball) but Klopp won't play him. **** off with that ****.

Our corners are atrocious too. Do they even practice that **** these days? We don't even look like scoring. Might as well just keep the ball rather than swing in a lame cross that gets cleared by the first man, as we get caught on the break quite often as a result.

Matip is the man who should be beside Virgil and it has to have got to the stage where Robbo has tog et dropped. Offering less and less going forward and poor defensively. Klopp made great subs last week but there was a big lack of urgency today unfortunately.
