True that. Results wise, that team was horribly efficient and winning games when not playing well and relying on our effectiveness upfront. But our level of football has gone up a notch or two. Salah is in his prime and Jota an increasing influence adding to the depth upfront. If you look at individuals throughout the current team, we can arguably say that we have 5 or 6 players who are the best in their positions at the moment, which takes some beating.

Oh I am not disagreeing with you at all, quite the opposite. Was more saying that the bit you highlighted is what could be said to counter your take on the team.

I think we are now a better more fluid team when all (or most) are fit than the title winning team with all fit. Plus that is with the league being stronger now than in the title wining season imo.

Games like yesterday's game or the Wolves game are just like the game against Villa in the title winning season where we needed a late goal to get three points.
