    Chelsea away

It’s not a collapse. We’ve played 2 games less and are hit by Covid.
    Are we winning?

Yeah, maybe a little extreme but 5 dropped in the last 2 games isn't putting pressure on City. Chelsea away next and then we lose Mo. It's not looking good.

We aren’t winning the league this season, with COVID we don’t have the squad to compete on a level playing field.

I've seen a few other games get postponed. Whats the different circumstances between them and us?

It's about a teams ability to field a team. Even Klopp said himself we are nowhere near not being able to field a team. It's something like 13 available players.

This 13 available players thing was only agreed at the recent PL meeting, so anything prior to that was governed in a more 'random' way.

At the moment we have 13 players available...more really, so no reason to not play the game.

Why not 14 or 16 players to represent 3 subs and 2 unused subs? 13 sounds ridiculously low

It's 13 senior outfield players and a GK, I could be wrong but I would guess it is because that gives you 14 players in total which is the max you could field in a game anyway (starting 11 and 3 subs). I suspect if you went much further than that it would start impacting fixtures in non Covid times, and some clubs would want games postponed if they had to have more than a couple of kids on the bench in which case seasons would never get finished.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Aye, this season's winners should have an asterisk, and 'Covid Affected' by it

It's our first game of 2022 and I'm resigned to the fact that 2nd is the best we can do now. Kinda gives it a not so important vibe about it for both teams. They beat us, they're not coming first anyway and similar for us. Seems silly to say dead rubber but that's how I feel.
                            Silverware required please Jurgen.

Going to sound like lots of ifs but if

                              We win today
                              Chelsea beat City
We win our game in hand

Then all we need to do is win all the rest of our games and we'll be level on points with City

Need to start that run today though
