Sadio for me. I guess some will think Mo cos this title would solidify his Ballon D'or/best in the world claims, but for me he gets enough adulation. Sadio has suffered a little bit over the last 2 years or so and winning this could give him a massive lift and we'll see him flying again. Plus Egypt are dreadful to watch. Sorry Mo.
Pretty much exactly my feelings on the matter.
But i don't really care, still annoyed i watched (read **** on my phone) Egypt last night - they were a dire watch.
I wasn't bothered who won it before the game, but after missing the pen early on I felt Senegal had to win it or Mane would have been on a massive downer probably blaming himself.
Hopefully losing it doesn't have a negative effect on Mo
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
So glad Mane scored that, he seems to wear his heart on his sleeve and if Senegal had lost that final, after he missed in the regular 90, it could have been devasting for his morale and for us going forward in the season.
Hopefully Mo will.come back fired up and with a point to prove also.
