Henderson did ok against a tiring team, but so did the other subs that came on at the same time. Fab was excellent against fresh opponents; not ones with nearly an hour of hard running in their legs.

As ever, the real key to the game was the first goal.

I think it was tactical. He was breaking up play well but we needed more possession.

Kudos to the manager as it was not the obvious change.

Tactical for sure and the right decision; was surprised how much Henderson In their calmed us down. Simple 5 yard give and back made their press harder to implinate for sure

I think fab was blowing as he was holding the whole midfield together, thiago's customary turn wasnt fooling the milan players, and elliot was struggling too.
Henderson has taken charge and bossed it. Keita did well too, didnt shirk a challenge and spull out like trent or thiago.
Diaz is a whirling dirvish.

They're a decent team alright. If they had pace up front then we might not have walked away with anything.

Trent and Robbo were absolute ****e. Robbo at least lifted a bit in the second half, but Trent was awful all game. Looked really leggy, had a heavy touch and his crossing/passing was as poor as ive ever seen from him. Peresic made him look Sunday league defensively too.

Elliott looked a bit lost for periods, struggled to get into the game. Keita made a huge difference when he came on, as did Hendo.

Diaz already looks one of our most dangerous players. Not sure why Mane started TBH. He's looking knackered out there after being flogged by Senegal and then probably partying on the streets all week.
