Also, after the board had went up to indicate the 2 additional minutes, there was a break in play of about 40s when an Inter player went down - this time should have been added back on.Originally posted by BigChief View PostHe was indeed. Predictably he blew the half time whistle with three seconds left despite Salah about to bear down on the goalie one on one. You've got to let that play finish before blowing. ****.

Back to the overall game though, before Hendo and Naby came on, there was way too much distance between the midfielders, inter were pressing, making us play long and mopping up on any second balls. When the changes were made, straight away our midfield got closer and started playing through their press with one touch triangles. We also started winning those second balls - this was the turning point of the match.

Milner's teacher I think.Originally posted by RedReet View PostCo-commentator on BT last night was sooooo much better than NcManaman. He surely has to go.
But did she say she was Hendo's teacher or did I pick that up wrong?
She was really good, offering actual insight and clearly knew her stuff. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Normally female commentators grate a little but i thought she was actually very good.
Yeah, she did mention that... I thought it was Milner though.
Just looked up Lucy Ward and she was head of education and welfare at the boys academy for Leeds United, from 1998 until 2015. So that'd make it Milner surely - if wiki can br trusted.

I'm all for letting the game flow normally but I thought Salah was continually mauled and never got anything.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI thought the ref was great first half, he let the game flow and hardly blew for anything either way. Second half that seemed to favour them a lot more than us.
I'm used to that treatment for him in the Premier League, but normally it's better in the Champions League.
He had the look of a referee that thought of himself as a tough guy, when really he just came across as a bit of a prick.
