Well because it was an opinion of a woman. I don't care what sex the pundits are but defending a potential ankle breaking tackle is just ****ing daft and anyone who tries to defend that drivel is as bad.

And yes I do criticise most other pundits for saying stupid **** and would be saying exactly the same if it was anyone else. Just because it is a female saying it doesn't mean she should get a pass. She clearly does not understand the laws of the game and it was painfully explained to her in detail, but nope double down.

So why link it to National Women's Day? Your on a sticky wicket here mate, it's a bumpy pitch and a blinding light.

        ****ing this

I swear down folk have completely unreasonable standards when it comes to how we play; especially when we're against top class opposition

There's never any mention of the other team. Its always "we played ****" like there's only one team on the pitch
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

            Agree 50%

Tbf to Dan and to give him the benefit of the doubt, I think it’s somewhat fair enough to pick up on it being the opinions of women, when they are only there as a guest appearance, because it’s IWD, and they are women.

Not to say that women don’t belong in punditry, but BT were just trying to look good by getting them in for this one day, and they’ll be gone again tomorrow and every other week. If they really care about women being represented more, get more full time female pundits. BT are like “here love, happy women’s day, let’s get a take away so you can have the night off”
            I don't tip

Because it is International Women's Day and imo BT and Sky just pick the women to tick boxes. They are only there for optics. "But we are trying to be more inclusive ", no you're not you're just trying to avoid a backlash because you've been criticised for it being a boys club.

So you can focus on the women thing and I ll focus on a "pundit" saying daft ****. Alex Scott good pundit, two girls today talked utter ****.

Actually after reading his subsequent post, I want to retract my benefit of the doubt for Dan. Sorry Dan!

Retraction noted, are we saying the same thing?

I remember seeing that D'Ambrosio playing for Inter in a pre-season friendly v West Ham a couple of years ago and he absolutely two footed Declan Rice after 5 minutes. D'Ambrosio creamed Rice.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Ha, I definitely agree that BT only had them on to tick boxes, which annoys me. And also agree that they were ****e.

Just seen the clip in question, Dan you owe Rachel Brown an apology!
She said it is a 2nd yellow.

Fara Williams though, backed by Rio, does come out with some absolute nonsense about it being Fabinho’s fault for being ‘late to the challenge’ or some such ****e.

I thought you picked up on exactly what I was saying were a few others did not which was that it's pretty blatant the two women and female interviewer were on because of the day that is in it and not because BT Sports believe in equality.

If we are saying the same thing which is a perfectly reasonable argument about how disingenuous sports media really is... then why the retraction?
