Without fail, every match we're not winning within 10 mins, "the midfield is getting overrun", "no control in midfield", regardless of how the actual game is going. That being said, 9 times out of 10, it's the same poster saying it.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

But sorry Dan, would love to engage with you, but wouldn't want to be added to the long list of bullies that keep picking on you for no reason whatsoever. Take it easy chum.

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Sorry I cannot hear you clearly.
Sounds like you are very far away or maybe just a lot lower down

Ian Rush says:
"Truth be told, Liverpool haven’t played well in their last three games, scraping past Norwich and West Ham and then losing to Inter.
“They’ve been getting away with it and whilst it’s true that the sign of a good team is winning after playing badly, the Inter game was a reminder that you can’t do it every time."
Imagine the abuse Rushie would have got on here for that on Tuesday night...

Did you get abuse for that?Originally posted by greenturnip View PostAll our matches are a bit knife-edge at the moment - could go either way. That’s why I’d like a convincing win. And it’s nothing to do with our record this season, which is great. It’s the last 3-4 games that worry me.
Personally I don't totally agree that we haven't played well. We haven't been up to our usual standard, but we are playing massive, high pressure games every 3-4 days, had an energy sapping, enthralling final against Chelsea, so eventually it was gonna take its toll. There were plenty of games like this when we won the league, but we always just did enough, like we are doing now, so not really concerned.
I think Mo will be out with a point to prove against Brighton and even though we have struggled against them in recent times, they might bear the brunt of some player frustration.Last edited by RedReet; 10-03-22, 08:06 PM.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We haven't played that well in the last few, we have grinded out results and had a bit of luck.... so what we got the results. We will have to up our game though as we need to be perfect. Any team that's ever won stuff has to do this at some point, you can't smash teams every week regardless of how good you are. There is nothing wrong with saying it, it's the truth. We have looked tired and a bit sloppy but sure we still managed to get the results we needed as we are a world class side. Some usuals just can't help getting their knickers in a twist.

I dont think we have played well either.
With the players we have we should be killing it every game. We have to if we are to compete with City. And I believe we can.
But winning when you dont play"well" is the sign of a great team.
Winning the league these days, you really have to earn it. We have a team of heroes. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

If the Anfield result was the end result, I.e. we lost the tie 1-0 then I’m sure the story would have been different , so unlucky so many chances, hit the woodwork three time etc
To me just a bad day at black rock, we’re should have beaten them, they weren’t great Alli had an easy game really, their goal was good but you don’t get many of those in a season.
We could criticise the strikers but why, they are just wonderful, wouldn’t change any of them.
Onwards to the next round.

Much of the good play and many of those chances were vs 10 men, which is what it is, they got a man rightly sent off, but to me, the outcome of the tie was most definitely in the balance at that point. We know how often refs bottle decisions like that, so it was a bit close for comfort for me.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
