Midfield has been the least talented position for years. No time to worry about that now. We just have to find a way.

Naby has been fit for most of the season and has been excellent far more often than not. I'm surprised he didn't start to be honest.

Alison, Virgil (jogging and arguing when the ball is still in play ), Trent not being composed under pressure and I can carry on.

We need to be composed and try to play through their pressing, allowing Fabinho to make his runs and offer angles we can play through, allow us to build up play. None of this happened this half, only for the goal we scored.

For some reason we seem to want to head the ball from a standing jump rather than bring it down under control or boot it upfield. We give up possession so often this way.

The issue I have is that he’s one who’s not physically capable of doing better in this kind of game, he’s too slow to take the positions that need taking. He couldn’t handle the speed that Chelsea moved the ball either. He’s important for us, but not against the best sides imo.

Yeah, can’t argue against that based on the first half. But then you could say the same of Thiago game just passed him by. If we aren’t getting Thiago on the ball in good areas there is no point to him.
