The take away for me is that they are better than us. That doesn’t mean we won’t win it though.

100% they are. They have more technical players and younger players. They can keep the ball for long periods whereas we're constantly chasing it. You need young legs in the middle against them.

Obviously a draw is better than losing but they're winning all their games.

What circumstances? We had a fully fit squad and faced a slightly out of form City side. I'd say it's not a good result in the circumstances.

Don't need much twisting and turning really, it's 1 point and we have a superior goal difference. City are playing on 3 fronts as well, so not going to go all their way when they know we're breathing down their necks is it.

Rodri, De Bruyne and Silva is the best midfield in the world in my view. We need to add a bit more than getting the ball up quickly to the front three with full backs pushing way forward. Thin differences, but a difference non the less.

If we can get back to Alonso, Gerrard and Masherano midfield talent level then that would be great.
