Getting battered for 45 mins by a better team at their place, and then being slightly worse than them for her remaining 45 mins.

Down to City's intensity and quality today, we just didn't have an answer for large parts of the game, bar 15 mins in the second half when we had them on the ropes. Game wasn't poor.

One big positive from the doom and gloom, we didn't stop playing. For long periods, we were battered but we didn't give up. We tried to be positive throughout and looked to win it.
          Another MASSIVE game

City were brilliant first half. I doubt many teams could have lived with them.

That said it took a lucky deflection to get them one up. We were struggling after the early goal and you have to admire the heart in the team to fight back twice.

Still loads can happen and one thing to remember is City are desperate for the CL. They remain favourites to win the League but Im not giving it up.

Sadio Mane was brilliant second half and his much derided first touch was incredible. 2 moments spring to mind in particular but I thought he was at the heart of our best football.

If we want to better city in the future it’s midfield where we have to match them and today showed the need for a Bellingham type to be brought in to the squad.

City's 3 away games at Leeds, West Ham and Wolves are tricky. Definitely tougher run in for us, but there's all to play for.

We looked slow and lethargic especially in the first half because a lot of the players couldn't control their nerves and it sapped their energy. Fab is a huge player for us and he looked like one of the biggest culprits with the occasion getting to him. Conversely, the mancs handled the situation far better and played with far more poise and freedom.

I expect the mancs to be padding their GD at Leeds.

Can Bellingham control the tempo of the play? I'd say we need an Andrea Pirlo , or Luka Modric type of player to improve that midfield, but usually it's our centre halves who control the play for us, and we could not do that too much today as they were rushed into it at times.

Fab doesn't seem to have an inbetween, amazing or awful. This was the worst game I've ever seen him play. Hendo though is the one I am concerned about. He is so easy to get past as he commits himself every time and in a technical game he isn't good enough on the deck to cope. Our midfield really struggled today, especially in the first half and City were killing our high line with balls over the top. Defence was so nervy too, even Virgil. In saying all that we got a draw in literally the toughest fixture in world football and we didn't play anywhere near our best.

I think both us and city will drop more points before its over.
They are more likely to get beat by a nowhere team out of the blue
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I know City we’re trying put us under pressure but I felt we totally lacked composure at the back which obviously increased that pressure.

We were crap today in most areas! We scored 2 good goals, didn’t concede more than the 2 & picked up a point/kept the gap to 1 point as the main positives from from todays game!

Gave the ball away almost every time which lead to City breaking through at will. It was too easy for them to pass the ball around and pick the ball out wide/over the top to exploit our high line with their runs in behind.

We need to be much better on Sunday!
