Is Carvalho likely to take Szoboszlai's place in the team which would be a massive win./win for us?

Honestly Harv, I think that is quite negative. Ox also needed time to prove if he was up to it (and sadly didn't). But supposing your last para is correct - if the manager has or does decide he's not good enough - then so what? Ok, he could be wrong, but he's paid to make those choices. I think Carvalho will be fine and could well make it with us, but the forward lines are especially competitive - if you're not making a major difference then you're not good enough. And yes, Ox - but look what happened to him. Released.Originally posted by Harv View Postsure sure Kenneth. Goals are everything.
When Oxturd ****ing chamberlain is coming on instead of you when we're chasing a goal then I'd say that's getting shafted.
He did more in the measly amount of playing time he got initially than Oxturd has done in 3 years.
He won't be back here. This is just to keep his value as high as possible. He'll then be used in a make weight deal for some new player Klopp fancies that FSG are too tight to pony up for. You watch.Really?

A loan to RB is a great move for player and club, he can get minutes and develop at a good level, and either come back better or kick start a good career, I think we'll see him back though. But maybe not next summer.Originally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostHonestly Harv, I think that is quite negative. Ox also needed time to prove if he was up to it (and sadly didn't). If anything Klopp is the sort of manager that offers too much loyalty and invests a hell of a lot of time into players that work hard, so if it is true Carvalho and Klopp do not speak much it suggests Carvalho was not putting in the required effort in training etc.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

A real shame that things haven't worked out for him with us.
Maybe klopp was reluctant to throw him to the wolves and introduce him into a struggling midfield. Klopp still played Harvey elliot though, and he didn't look to solid.
I'm sure there is a top quality player in there and although he may be finished at LFC I hope he goes on to reach his full potential.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Klopp did start the season using Carvalho straight away though. He was featuring regularly until around late October, clocking up just under 20 appearances.Originally posted by baitman View PostA real shame that things haven't worked out for him with us.

Then, November onwards we only saw him 4 or 5 more times.
Don’t think it was anything to do with Klopp being reluctant to put him in the team, because he did from the off. More like something made Klopp decide to stop playing him..

Loads of quotes on the contrary from Klopp that he's an excellent trainer.Originally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostIf anything Klopp is the sort of manager that offers too much loyalty and invests a hell of a lot of time into players that work hard, so if it is true Carvalho and Klopp do not speak much it suggests Carvalho was not putting in the required effort in training etc.
Klopp added: “Fabio, for the situation in which he is now, in training on an absolute super level and not being involved, how he deals with it, I have to say, that’s kind of a role model.
“Not that he is happy with the situation, but he never gives up. It’s unbelievable.etcKlopp called Carvalho’s training displays ‘really outstanding’, no doubt giving the playmaker some confidence moving forward.
“I would like to make these decisions, whatever it will be, with the boys before we talk about it and there is no decision in no direction,” said Klopp. “We will talk to each other and then we will see what we will do, what he wants and what I think, but there is no decision yet.”
“What I can say is that again this week he was exceptional in training, it’s really outstanding,” he added.

He’s meant to be on £40k a week base, maybe there’s some contract related oddity that means we didn’t want to continue playing him?
Agree it’s very strange anyway.. but it could be somethjng like minimum amount appearances triggered a new contract on say £80k a week and we knew he’s not the guy for us long term.Hello mert.
