We didn’t knock it about as much as I’d like us to tbh. The goals we conceded we could have done better, we tried the more difficult thing instead of playing it safer. If the game was on a knife’s edge maybe, but 3-0 up, we should have bored the **** out of passing it around City.
      Are we winning?

Slightly uncharted territory to be three nil up at HT also.
They had nothing to lose and upped their game. We had… something to lose.

The late goal flattered them a bit.

Both goals flattered them. Our passing from the back was unnecessarily shaky by VvD, Konate and Alison. Thank God for Thiago and Keita keeping the ship steady. They were never going to win.

I know, but I felt that was City’s second string largely, first half it showed how much the difference in class was when we were on top. Sometimes I feel that team doesn’t realise how good they are. We should have demolished City today

                100% in agreement.

A 5 or 6 thrashing might have won us the league. They'd have been distraught.

                I just want it all.

You have to admire the bloody minded resilience of this team.

Whatever the challenge, whoever the opposition we keep moving forwards. We are properly battle hardened right now.

We're Street fighters. I think we could be better on the eye at times and chose a better pass, especially in attacking areas. But ultimately it's being picky. We fight our way through games. That is the managers doing. Any other coach with these same players doesn't do anywhere near as well.

Did anybody really think City were gonna come back? I'm not sure they even believed it. Even if they scored in the 94th, I expected us to score in injury time. Worst case we went thought after e/t which might have a bigger knock on effect to their season than ours.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

FA Cup semi-final v Man City

To sum up: we were three up and coasting at half-time. Expected Citeh to come back as they couldn’t play worse but we needlessly gave the ball away under no pressure, just poor passing.

Robbo and Salah were woeful. Ibou, Mane, Thiago, Diaz and Naby were all exceptional. Naby brings so much more press to the way we play… Ali’s kicking is terrible under pressure. Luckily he’s a superb shot stopper…

Grealish is bobbins and the most fouled player in the Prem purely because he dawdles on the ball all the time. Sterling looked disinterested. Fernandinho, Aki and Silva lucky not not both get two yellows for a series of **** and late tackles

Scoreline flattered Citeh and we should have been home and hosed by midway through the second half. Salah missing countless passes and shooting opps…

Nice to see Mane, Naby and Diaz absolutely tearing it up…

Not arsed who we play, think Chavs might suit us better…

Sat and watched the game with a City season ticket holder and his family on holiday in Tenerife today. Only met them ten mins before the game, both of us looking for a decent place to watch the game out of the sun and with a decent screen.

At the end he shook my hand and said he hopes we go on to win the quadruple if they get knocked out in Europe, said it’d be an awesome achievement when an English team achieves it and one of us should do it. In reply I said that we were the best two sides in the world at the moment, but they weren’t at their best today having played the biggest ****houses in Europe midweek while we rested loads.

Nice to have the reminder that they aren’t all cunts.
