At the end he shook my hand and said he hopes we go on to win the quadruple if they get knocked out in Europe, said it’d be an awesome achievement when an English team achieves it and one of us should do it. In reply I said that we were the best two sides in the world at the moment, but they weren’t at their best today having played the biggest ****houses in Europe midweek while we rested loads.

Nice to have the reminder that they aren’t all cunts.
    Few and far between

Bit frustrating to let them score twice but if taking foot off the gas means we are fresher for Tuesday then I’m all for it.

    In the final

Robbo and Salah were woeful. Ibou, Mane, Thiago, Diaz and Naby were all exceptional. Naby brings so much more press to the way we play… Ali’s kicking is terrible under pressure. Luckily he’s a superb shot stopper…

Grealish is bobbins and the most fouled player in the Prem purely because he dawdles on the ball all the time. Sterling looked disinterested. Fernandinho, Aki and Silva lucky not not both get two yellows for a series of **** and late tackles

Scoreline flattered Citeh and we should have been home and hosed by midway through the second half. Salah missing countless passes and shooting opps…

Nice to see Mane, Naby and Diaz absolutely tearing it up…

Not arsed who we play, think Chavs might suit us better…
we’ve beaten palace home and away, scored six and conceded one this season.

        Im very drunk...

It wouldnt be Liverpool if we did not make it a massive drama at the end.

        City's support was ****e.

They had to have massive banners covering their unsold seats. Their club wembley allocation was mostly empty.

we smashed it today, destroyed them in the first half. Don't care if they got a few sloppy goals back we were much the better side. Diaz was exceptional as was Mane and Thiago. Keita was decent too. But dissapointed in Robbo and Mo but we dominated that game. Great win and roll on the final.

Mo was meh, but Robbo was garbage for both their goals. Kostas should get a run.

Result was all that mattered. City had quite a few changes vs last week due to madrid and, i can't helo but think, guardiola "testing our guns" as per Rourke's Drift. We're still going well, but haven't played well in some time imo, and some players seem to lose their confidence against city as with last week. Hope we don't face them in Paris.

Yep, couldn't believe Alisson, VvD, Robbo and Fab sharting their way through the game. All made crucial contributions (Robbo's cross, VvD's heading, Alisson world class save) but they just needed to relax. Take a leaf from Naby Lad.

Wow absolutely thrilled to bits with the result & the manner in which we led 3-0 at HT. Naby lad must stay fit for the run in for us to do the Quadruple

I can't believe we have another final to look forward to and we're two games away from a further final in the CL.. What a team!

I'd say I am baffled as to how we ended up with more cards than them but I'm not at all. The reason is clear that refs in this country are crap but... don't give a damn. We won

                            that’s the spirit!!

Can’t believe the amount of pessimists on here- yes we could have played a lot better in parts of the game, but as ya say on to another final, need to enjoy these times, they won’t be around forever.

Don't think we even played well tbh. We can play much better than that. They were just awful

Players all looked a bit leggy for both sides. Was the grass was a bit long? The ball wasn't zipping around like it usually does and both sides were under/over hitting passes all game. Was very odd.

If the game was on a knife’s edge maybe, but 3-0 up, we should have bored the **** out of passing it around City.
The problem with that is that lots of the city players are very good at football and they also have a good coach who motivates them and teaches them how to win back possession. Otherwise, it's a brilliant plan.
