Two six inch crusty Italian sandwich rolls filled with salami, beef meatballs, pepperoni, shredded cripy bacon, some Cork made mozzarella (melted chunks and not shredded) with a marinara and garlic sauce (heavy on the marinara and light on the garlic).

Basically a Subway mega meat done right.

Had a nice cold pint glass of milk with them as they arrived within two minutes of me complaining on here that they were late.

...the milk is an odd choice. Is that to line your stomach for copious amounts of alcohol later to calm the nerves once the game kicks off?

I dont think I have properly come to terms with the fact we have a CL Semi Final first leg tonight no nerves or anything yet.

We used to dream of this sort of fixture for decades, and today I have not even properly considered the enormousness of the match yet, 2 games from a CL Final. Every game has been monumental for about three weeks, and this is another MA-HOO-SIVE match.

Every game is so massive, it's going to be torture for the next month...

Thought United followed by the bluenoses would be bad enough.. but now UCL Semi followed by a game every nine seconds until the end of the season. I'm gonna have a Sean Connery if this keeps up.

It's the hope that kills...

..and I still have standards of whinging to maintain throughout each game.

I really like milk with a meat roll or with a burger. Actually I just really like milk full stop.

As for calming the nerves once the games starts, nah that's when I am usually at my most chilled. Klopp's Liverpool have a calming effect on me because no matter how they are playing on the day I still expect them to pull something out of the bag at some point.

Under Klopp we are Thanos.
