Did not start going to "big" band gigs until 1986 with Iron Maiden and Metalicca being my first two gigs by major bands that year.

Was it on the Thinder and Lightning tour you saw them on?

And yep to Live and Dangerous. It is a flawless (though touched up) live album
    Chinatown and Renegade iirc.

I saw all the the big bands the day, I will reel a few off...
Black sabbath, motorhead, rush, judas priest, sammy hagar, van halen, Y and T, diamond head, iron maiden (many times), blizzard of Oz, Gillan, whitesnake, ufo, twisted sister, dead kennedys, budgie, and loads of nwobhm bands.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I’m actually feeling nervous about the game already, we’ll be in the fan zone at Wembley for 1 o’clock’ish, a few cold ones before the game and enjoy the atmosphere before we smash them, hopefully.

I'd play Curtis over Naby. Retains the ball better

Gunna bloody miss this as I’ll be travelling from the cruise ship in Whittier Harbour up to Denali National park.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Marginally. But Naby makes far more progressive passes than Curtis. He's also more effective at winning the ball too.

Some of those would have been awesome to see in the later 1970s and first couple years of the 1980s.

Seen a good few on that list but only from 1986 onwards.

                    Ahh Cup final day.

Shot dirty looks at a few pigeons that were milling about the main street. Drove down to Flag Man at the top of the village to see what he was selling. Got a Limerick flag ( am living in County Cork) as it seemed the thing to do.

Then down to Centra for the now traditional Jaco vs Centra spat that has to occur before any game I deem an important one.

Squabbled with the manc on the shop till when I went to get a brekkie roll. Gave it the full on ****** McGregor strut around Centra with a Liverpool top on. Have adopted a new persona for speaking to the manc as it seems to rile him up even more when I do a faux Downtown Abbey type posh accent and refuse to break character.

Girls on the deli counter doing the "OOOooooh" sound when they see someone is on a wind up and are trying to get in on the act themselves and jeering when they saw the Limerick flag I was wearing as a cape. Luckily the brekkie roll was made before the flag was noticed.

Stocked up on the hard stuff for the game. Bottles of Vit Hit (Perform and Berry flavours, none of that horrid Detox flavour.) a bag of cadburys Giant Buttons, some Mozzerella balls, and some pasta with diced crispy bacon through it.

Had a chat with a cow when I got home as she was sticking her head over the fence from the field next door. Surprisingly good listener are cows.

Now in sort of a limbo as am meant to collect some stuff I ordered from a shop in Cork city but am lazy to make the 30 minute drive. Probably stare out the window at sparrows for an hour or three calling them lazy and pointing ou to them how industrious the robin is, then go "**** it" and drive down to get my stuff and have to rush back for the game.

                    Robertson
                    Henderson
                    Thiago-oooo-ooooo
                    Keita
                    Mane
                    Jota
                    Salah

If you would not mind Jurgen, then bring on Diaz after 65 minutes to run them ragged if the game is still close.

Have at them Red men and reel in some more silverware

I'm off for a quick nap then back at 1:30am!

I could watch this in the morning but I'm prone to fast forwarding the action, and if the opposition score first, I'll go forward in large chunks of time to see if we score or not. Totally ruins it for me!

Yep, Curtis dwells on the ball and slow decision making, can't have that against Chelsea.

Me and a late great mate were playing Space Invaders with Dee Dee Ramone in the arcade outside of Cornwall Colliseum and he left literally a minute before he was due on stage. It was hilarious. The 1980s were epic.

Diaz, Mane & Salah is the first choice front three these days. We’re the better team, no need to overthink things- that’s what cost city the CL final against Chelsea last season…
                              I don't tip

Worried about Keita today. Can't handle big matches or teams that press. He's also **** against teams that play in blue and terrible in 4.45 kick offs.

Not sure what Klopp is playing at.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
