I dont know what stream I was watching but the two commentators talked about chelsea 99% of the entire game and only mentioned liverpool when we missed a shot. Then at extra time one asked the other who he fancied a win from, and he surprisingly said chelsea. Hope they enjoyed the outcome! Cause I certainly did!

Back home now. Another great day at Wembley in the sun. Ruined. 2 down.

Same.Originally posted by Venton View PostLovely result at the end of the day. I'm leathered.
Starting drinking at HT.
I thought we deserved it. Chelsea had chances, but overall we were slightly the better team. We pretty much dominated first half other than two or three breaks, which they seemed to be using to illustrate how bad Lukaku is. Then second half they started really well but we took over after 15 mins.
Extra time was reasonably uneventful.
Then a proper stress fest of a shootout. I thought we’d absolutely ****ed it when Mane missed and I think they did also. But solid pen from Jota, s stunning save and the most unlikely hero ever saw us across the line.
This team has guts. Great final. Great win.

What a fantastic day, fan zone was rocking and, OMG, how stressful was watching that game, atmosphere in the ground was on another level. If it’s like that for an FA cup final god knows what Paris is going to be like?

Our next game is Tuesday, City play tomorrow, their result for me affects our approach. If they lose tomorrow (unlikely admittedly) we'd be mad not to try and secure a big win at Southampton. If City win tomorrow that might change our approach.Originally posted by danperkins View Post
All about weighing up the odds.
I would imagine that there will be a fair few changes regardless given how close the game is and the fact we just played 120mins and pens and picked up a couple of knocks I would expect a few changes and mins for the likes of Gomez Jones, Tsimikas and maybe even Origi.

It will go down to the last game. This team will keep going.

I don't recall that; only Kepa sticks out as ****ing about all the time.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostKelleher did the same thing in the League Cup final. After every penalty he rolled or gave the ball straight to our next taker to stop Kepa getting a chance to interfere.
