    Whatever “mate”. I typically don’t blame “anyone”. I think we need a signing. I don’t think Klopp will be given the money.

      Agree mate. It’s a bad result, but we’ve Bournemouth at home on Saturday. We have to respond.

      Would be good to have Jota back.

        I think they will be looking at that and the 2 previous games and mirroring how these teams have played against us. Jota is a huge loss, Mane well like will tell but losing one of the best players in the world is bound to affect any side.

        Still annoyed at Nunez too,idiot.

          If we bring in someone like him it would require a fundamental change in philosophy. That’s why Tchouameni was so important. His skill set would have allowed us to be a better version of what we already are.

          OK, I see where you're coming from. I don't think pace is an absolute requirement to be a DM though. Bellingham and Fabinho in a midfield 2 in a 4-2-3-1 can work. I don't see Salah fitting in as a wide or inside right midfielder that would be the bigger concern.

            Yeah we’re the only team who hasn’t been able to play someone big right up against the wee butcher lad. And it showed.

                It's hard to wrap your head around how many problems we've got. The team has suddenly got old and we're seeing dog**** teams like United and Fulham outrun us and play with more intensity than us. With so many over 30 now, it looks near impossible to play Klopp's high intensity game. Shambolic at the back, a mess in midfield and toothless up front. It's not great.

                  That was frustrating… it’s hard to imagine that nunez didn’t cost us at least 3 points already

                    Which teams in the projected top half of the league table would be starting 36yr old James Milner?

                        But even with the insane amount of injuries we have and as a result, the worst bench I think I've ever seen; what has happened to our ability to play a pass? I'd love to see stats of completed passes, seems like 1 in 2 went awry

                        Diaz was great, Harvey very good, literally everyone else was poor

                          According to Flashscore who I assume source their data from an OPTA feed;

                          Manchester United 177 of 265 completed or 66.8%
                          Liverpool 514 of 613 completed or 83.85%

                            Been saying it for far too long. Klopp has been driving these guys into the ground for years and its starting to show. We needed the midfield upgraded last year and he did nothing, we needed it even more this year and he's done nothing again. It's an absolute disgrace TBH and massive oversight from him. The evidence is there for all to see.

                            Hopefully this game was the wake up call he needs that we are nowhere near good enough

                                He’s hinted to it a few times over the last week or so, that it’s not his call- if he’s not given the money he can’t buy a new midfielder, simple.

                                I like the job that fsg have done over the past few years, but it is frustrating that we’re being outspent every summer by our opponents.
