You can't go away to United with a bench like that and expect to win. Part of it is psychological warfare... they would have looked at our options and fancied their chances. No motivation needed. There were players on the bench that were just making up the numbers really.

The amount of injuries is insane but it's the usual crocks every time. We are literally one Henderson injury away from a complete crises. Would not surprise me at all if this happens.

The defense is **** because the midfield is ****. Offering zero protection. Then the midfield is offering nothing attacking wise either.

That said, their 2 goals last night were both preventable. Trent strolling around like he was in the Aldi special aisle on a Thursday and Virgil looking like he was just about to belt out Wonderwall. The gizz fest about Sancho on sky last night gave him far too much credit. Second goal then was a result of Henderson with his half arsed leg out passing the ****in ball to them. ****ing not good enough.

And bobby, diaz and mo didnt exactly put them under too much pressure either ffs. Bobby especially with that stupid ****in loop pass attempt when we first got to their box. That is **** to be doing when you are 3.or 4 goals to the good ffs. Hendersons shot attempt on 28' from the edge of the box sums him up as well. ****in useless and his shouts to himself afterwards are ****in embarrassing too. We'd all have been more surprised if he worked the keeper ffs. Its a pity nunez wasn't available because he would have occupied them differently.

I still think we can turn it around though. Bournemouth at the weekend will hopefully be a good game for the team to get some form of redemption and get our season going. We then play Newcastle at home next Wednesday which will be a tough game again without darwin but if we can we those 2 games, we then play everton away.

We have looked quite disjointed in the first three games and maybe the team is evolving tactically. I remember when we first switched from gegenpressing to being a possession based team and wondered if my Sky was on slow or something.

Maybe we are switching away from the wide forwards attacking model to to a central striker who is supported by diaz and salah. The fullbacks aren’t as involved.

I was livid yesterday but have to remind myself that this team has hit over 90 points three times in the last four seasons. There’s not really a lot wrong here other than maybe some lads getting on a bit, some early teething issues and a lot of injuries.
