There were pundits debating about whether we were too far back to rule out a title challenge after the city game. Unless we can counter we have no ****ing ideas.

I'm not focusing on this game in that comment. It's the squad overall.

As much potential as they have the likes of Elliot, carvalho and jones aren’t better than their counterparts and will not offer enough of a contribution to make a huge difference.

They’re developing but they’re not ready to dig us out of holes yet that the likes of Fabinho and Henderson creating for us.
Why are we so injury prone? There is a root cause to everything.

Some are impact injuries which you can’t do anything about and others are soft tissue which in theory you should be preventing.

But honestly who really knows what’s going on.

Would be interesting to understand our rate of injuries in comparison to other teams. The pundits and sports journalist are too dumb to analyze that and throw out lazy annoying comments, woudl love to see some data.

There genuinely has to be questions asked now about what we are doing on the training pitch or if it is something with the medical team. It just sea ridiculous.

This season seems the worst since klopp’s first season.

Joe Gomez and Fabinho were dreadful. Thought Roberson was excellent though. Best game he’s had in ages.

Fabinho is the only midfielder that’s really underperforming though. Thiago is going fine and everyone else is pretty much playing at their level. That’s how ****e our squad is in midfield.

Henderson’s decline started last season and it’s accelerated to the point where he’s almost of no help to the team. If anything he’s hurting the team badly but we all grow old and Hendo has been very good for us. Sad to see a player in such a decline but it’s not his fault.

The management / ownership should have made some better decisions much earlier.

Carvalho, Jones and Elliott should not be starting as a midfield trio, two of them at a stretch, nowhere near ready. Yet again disrespecting the lower teams and ending up with egg on our faces. Such a shame.

I don't think it's that at all? Klopp is always commenting on opposition teams and their strengths. I don't think we disrespected them at all - we are just woefully short of options and had 4 games in 10 days

Yeah I think it says more about how stagnant we've been in the market for new midfielders that we have to rely on kids that either aren't good enough in Jones case or just not ready to be playing that many mins.
