Naby and Ox are as big a millstone for this club as Karius, Aquilani and Carroll were. Sucking the huge wages and contracts out of us doing some decent business elsewhere. That's on Klopp, Pep and FSG though... they knew there was not going to be a miraculous change from last season, yet they all persisted with this 'we don't need anyone else' garbage until we panicked for Arthur. Look how ****ing good he turned out to be as well... my god.

We should have had two or three alternative targets to Tchou in the summer or gone balls out for Bellingham once he went to RM. Doing nothing is now very evident. The icing on the cake is Fabinho's form... absolute Kieron Dier levels of ****ness this season... No-one would have forseen a fit Fab playing as ****e as this. He's worse than bad. The whole thing is just a perfect storm and now it's descended into a perfect ****storm. We have our work cut out to get fourth based on current outings and every other PL team will now see us as a potential win not a 'work hard for the point'.

Stupid books aside, Jurgen and Pep need to get back to basics and drill the **** out of the fit players we have left to get back to basics, work hard(er) and do the mileage. If they can't do that, as a minimum, we going to be in the hideous Thursday night brigade and that will **** any potential rectifying transfer plans in the summer. No UCL is a massive loss if we want the best talent. Without it, we're on another long rebuilding journey which will probably outlast Klopp's tenure. We're so far behind now compared to where we were - Arsenal's good form is the only realistic challenge to Citeh and then it's a free-for-all for the UCL scraps. Chavs are pretty ****e too, but ****ing Utd and even Newcastle seemed to have found their tempo and could go big again in the Jan window to support that charge. Be interesting to see who the first really big name is who is prepared to take a punt on going there like Robinho kicked things off with Citeh and Mark Hughes all those years ago. The start of oil money dominance next season... once again.

We are rope a doping everyone.

Playing **** now, every team thinking "yeah let's go at them from now on"

Then January 1st Barella, Laimer and Tonali all turn up to do a triple lean inside Kirkby wearing Jaco P Guarantee t shirts.

We then murder teams in midfield for the rest of the season, win the CL and FA cup.

Or we are just crap and we can sit and wait our way through a period of crapness before we rise up again.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Just choosing to let the crap results to pass over me as much as possible and let the fact that our ups and downs have always been cyclical in the past be my comfort blanket.

At best we can maybe hope for one midfielder in January, but the likelihood is we'd end up either paying over the odds for someone decent or panic buying someone we can't get rid of.

The most frustrating thing for me is that for all the sports science stuff that we were supposed to excel at no-one could see that Ox and Keita were going to miss half the season, Henderson and Thiago were going to pick up knocks and be missing games at various points, Henderson and Milner's legs can't manage 2 games a week week in week out, Jones and Elliott, while we might have hoped that they could step up and play week in week out they clearly weren't at that level at the start of the season. Aside from Fabinho's massive down turn in form I feel alot of the midfield issues were predictable and should have been addressed. Again for all the credit that our guys get for the work done in the transfer market we have made a couple of bad panic signings in the last few years - Ben Davies and Arthur Melo.

Top 4 from our current position is a massive ask, not impossible but requires significant turn around in form. At the moment City, Arsenal and Spurs look really strong and based on form so far you would say are currently favourites for the top 3 spots, but we know that both Arsenal and Spurs in the past have crumbled, that said Man Utd, Newcastle and Chelsea are also chasing that top 4, you have to expect that Newcastle will spend in the window to try and make top 4, so we need to finish ahead of at least 3 of those 7 to make CL (or win it )
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Serves you right for going to Wexford.

Though did have a great shag by Curracloe Beach years back. Could have been a sheep for all I recall but a great shag nonetheless.
