Apart from Thiago the rest of the midfield has been non-existent. Fabinho is in a very poor run of form but Elliot doesn’t give you enough on the ball to carry him off it. Very talented kid but he’s not a midfield player.

I have confidence we will get 3 points from this game, but the fact that we go in at half time at 1 - 1 is pretty poor. This is exactly the kind of team / tactics against which we should flourish. We are finding consistency hard to find.

I would like to see Gomez substituted for ... I don't care.. Phillips - he's on the bench right? I just want to see some indication from Klopp that he realises this is a problem. Let's be kind - he's had a long time out and isn't mentally sharp enough yet.

Also - Carra to stop saying "It really is" and derivatives thereof. It's ****ing irritating, it really is.

Just being himself. He’s error prone, always has been.

Taking Gomez off? The misplaced pass on the goal was bad but otherwise he's been fine. Made some good interceptions and tackles, passing has been fine too.

I can't remember the exact moment - came somewhere like 10 minutes after his gaffe - in the penalty area he played the ball into an opposition foot. It came to nothing, but could have been another goal. He's not a bad player - might not be good enough for us, that is debatable, but he is making a lot of mistakes in every game.

That with an under pressure Trent at the back - it's fatal and it's costing us in every game they play together.

He's come back too early imho. But needs must I guess.

Having said all of that, it wouldn't be such a problem if we were pressing better up front.
