Robbo went wide a few times, some interpassing with the two of them, perhaps slot has told gakpo not to be such a greedy self centred ****er and remember to be a team player!Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostHe needs to mix it up and use him sometimes thoughremoving all the weak links makes us stronger

Maybe it is Robertson that has a little word in game to Gakpo abot watching for the runs Robertson makes.
I reckon Robertson would get his point across whereas Kerkez might not be as quick to do so yet this early in his LFC career.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

That was my thinking too...Robbo would be demanding the ball in no uncertain terms, whereas Kerkez is probably still a bit quiet and expects the pass, rather than calls for it. And if Gakpo ignores Robbo and makes a mess of the play, he'd hear no end of it, but I don't see Kerkez having the same force of personality. Also we know Robertson is the type not to take any ****
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Exactly and that is something that is sometimes needed on the pitch when teammates are not linking up as well as they should be.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Be curious to see when he has Kerkez behind him does he revert to not mixing it up and just cutting in.
The few times this season he played in front of Robertson Gakpo went wide more. I suspect Robertson might do a bit more on pitch organising and be more inclined to hand out a bollocking than the younger less established with us Kerkez.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

He's having to do too much when a little break on the sidelines while competing with a likeminded attacker will bring out the best of him as it did last year when we had Diaz.
Slot is not being fair on him hoping that he will play himself into form while flogging an almost dead horse.Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

He's definitely more scared of Robbo than he is of Kerkez
