In the meantime, and as I have been saying for months (literally), we cannot afford to play both him and Salah in the same team. It is a huge handicap we are imposing on ourselves every time we do so. One of them needs to start from the bench every game until we sort this out. This realisation brings impact of Frimpong's injury and us not replacing Diaz in the summer into sharper relief.

                      He will definitely be here next season he's just signed a new contract but I really hope he's only a squad player. Definately not captain/vice captain material

                          Yep and it has mostly been senior players doing it right from the start of the season.

                          Now the loss of Jota may well be something that has a lot of those that knew him simply wanting out of the club as there may be too many reminders of an all too fresh loss of a friend, but be putting in transfer requests if that is the case and get yourself somewhere else where you can grieve and process your loss in a different enviroment.

                          If it is not Jota related then the half arsed "senior" players need to be ****ed off as soon as we can because they are as much a part of our on pitch issiues this season as Slot has been imo.

                            I also put my vote towards shovelling the lot out the door. If you're getting paid that obscene amount per week and cant even manage to show up for an entire season, you should be automatically sold.

                                And I think they'll miss him, he does manage to come up with vital goals.
