Let me guess, Alisson was concussed. Wtf was he doing? There’s mistakes (see De Gea) and there’s that. And Matip did pretty much the same thing.

Anyway, the midfield three still doesn’t work to absolutely nobody’s surprise and yet we persist, again and again and again and..

Anyway, Fab and Hendo can’t play forever so we’re probably max two years away from getting the midfield problems sorted, to look on the bright side.

Fiddling with Salah's formation is not the issue in my view. Our high pressure is terrible. Teams play the ball through us from the back very easily. Our midfield needs massive improvement, Salah is also a shadow of what he once was.

He was pish too. If we’re going off that game, Elliott and Doalc are our best midfielders. Either way, we’re two new midfield starters away from a proper side.

I can still see us getting 4th though to be honest - purely due to the fact that there are 11 games after the 2nd leg against real madrid and by then we will only have league games to concentrate on. And hopefully diaz, bobby and jota are back by then and we can score a lot of goals

Yep issue is the counter press and we’re not consistently good at it. When teams play around it they’re through. We had better counter pressing situations after Naby came on.

Sort that out and we won’t be too far off.

We desperately need AT LEAST one quality midfielder though.
