I haven't read that, but just thought it wasn't given because the lino put his flag up and they didnt have the vision for VAR, so cant overturn anything?

Like when Arsenal scored against us earlier this season. Which on looking at images after the game it was clearly off but the lino didnt flag it, so it stood.

Yeah, they kind of cleared it up - but that tweet evidences why it was offside. And also. If it were a 'conspiracy' it would have to run pretty deep and involve a sizeable amount of preplanning and luck.
