Confidence is a big thing in football and a lot of our players are not at their level at the moment, doesn't mean they're ****.

We’re obviously underperforming, but if you ignore the idea of past peak performances for some of them and take the players at face value, that team is not a top PL proven team that necessarily should be near the top of the league. A shadow of salah, Nunez and Gakpo may be a front three that elicits hope of good things, but it is a mostly unproven collection of recently assembled players from **** leagues. The midfield has a young kid and Keita, for whom the jury is still out after all these years, and an aging Thiago. The back four has Gomez in it. It’s not that strong a team by PL standards I’m afraid, and maybe it doesn’t necessarily deserve to be winning loads of PL matches on quality. Having said that, it shouldn’t look that ****.

He is a very good left back who this season has looked ordinary. Certainly not an ordinary left back/footballer though. He still has a far better output in terms of assists than his counterpart on the other flank.
